Beginners Class

The new Beginners Class for 2011-2012 started September 13, 2011. Our Beginners Class is taught by Bill Gipson Tuesday nights at Buena Park's Walter Ehlers Community Center, 8150 Knott Ave in the Liberty Hall facility.  The first class will be free, so come around, and check it out. The class hase a dual format, with the Beginner's portion 7:00 PM to 8:40 PM, and Plus Workshop 8:45 PM to 9:45 PM.

We welcome singles, couples, families and brush ups. There is a singles rotation. The singles rotation helps insure that people without partners get to dance.

Don't let the word Class scare you. While you do need to take classes to square dance, we have fun at the classes. The Beginners Class is important to the Boys'N'Berries, and every effort is made to help all the Beginners learn. 

You will meet great people, both fellow Beginners, and current dancers.

Children 8 and over can learn to dance with their parents. Younger children are welcome, but have difficulty maintaining their attention on square dancing for two and a half hours.   

Square dancing is good exercise and lots of fun.
